Whamisa & The Seven Skin Method

So I may be a bit late to the party, but I’m just joining the 7 skin method craze. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, read on for my take on it.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve been testing Korean skin care line Whamisa. Specifically, I’ve been using the Organic Flowers Foam Cleansing CreamOrganic Flowers Cleansing Oil, Deep Rich Toner, and Double Rich Lotion.

Every other night, I’ve used the 7 skin method with the Deep Rich Toner to re-hydrate my skin when it starts feeling dull and dry.

Apparently, the word “skin” in “7 skin method” comes from the Korean word for toner, so it actually translates as 7 toner method. This basically means you put your toner on seven times during your skin care ritual.

It’s been a big trend in Korean beauty for a while now, and I was skeptical at first. But, I have to say, it REALLY works if hydration is what you’re looking for.

So every other night for at least the past week I’ve been cleansing with the Organic Flowers Foam Cleansing Cream when I’m looking for a deeper clean, and the Organic Flowers Cleansing Oil when I’m looking for something lighter. The cleansing cream foams up quite a lot, so I like to use it in the shower and get my neck, chest, and back cleansed as well.

Then I’ve been applying this toner 7 times, followed by the Double Rich Lotion.

I have found that it leaves a bit of a film that gets in the way if you then try to apply primers or cream foundations. So the best time to use this method is at night before you go to bed.

Try it, you’ll be amazed with the results when you wake up. This toner really is the star of the show, but all of the Whamisa products I’ve tried I’ve liked.

If you’re ready to try, you can get them at Natural Goods Company!

Have you tried the 7 skin method?
